Shipwreck silver coin necklace
Description
The coin is an actual Piece of Eight minted in 1625 in Peru. It was recovered from the Dutch Spice Islands wreck of 1629. The setting is hand wrought gold to underscore the drama of the coin. It is wonderful piece of history and beautiful as well. The coin can be worn with either face forward and the colors of the silver the gold and the black tarnish are a classic and elegant combination. The length should be adjust for the owner of this piece…either long or short, almost choker length. It is an interesting and tough-looking piece of jewelry, sporty and chic…great with a bathing suit.
